da rec
i was in the rec he other day and what i had observed was kind of interestin. well as you know i stay onthe third floor and they play basketball there so what was goin on was they had closed twon courts for the rec IM leauge. that made it very irritating for some people to play becasee up at that place, everone decides that they want to have next game. so if you get there late, you either have a friend that is playin soon, or you sit out for about six games, and that takes a long time. but other than that some of the things i haved obserbed was that this boy had dunked on someone and that kind of cleared out the gym, everyone quit and went home except for those that were in the rec leauge and those that were watchin the game. other than that nothing really excitin happend....it was pretty much just another day at the rec except for the fact of the courts that were closed down.

Shola,
Good start thinking about the way people interact and the way one person can change the dynamics. You mention it was "just another day at the rec." What does that mean? Can you defamiliarize it, or try to view it from an outsider's perspective? Who is there? What are they like? What's the game play like? Are the rules explained or are people expected to know? Pretend like you're seeing it for the first time and tell us what you see.

ooo ok so you want me to do every blog like im talkin to someone who hasent been there before
I thought that what you wrote about the community was good. I just think that you could of gave more detail about the people in the rec like what did the guy have on that dunked things like that. But overall i thought that your observations were good.
Shola,
Sorry for responding to you so late on this one... At least start out like we haven't been there before, because some of your readers won't have been there. I've only seen it from a distance, running up on the track. Show me the little things I'm missing. As you progress in your blogs, you can figure your audience has read your other blogs. But first we have to know what it means to have a typical day.
